In order to suggest a new event to Diegatus Studios Calendar, you must send a message through any via listed in the Annex - Contact information with the following information*:
- Name or title of the event.
- Fixed, mobile or long-term date on which it is celebrated.
- Brief description of the event.
- Brief justification of why it should be added to Diegatus Studios Calendar.
- Your personal name or username and its social network to be recognized, if you wish, if your event is approved. Otherwise, you can specify to remain anonymous.
Submissions are welcome throughout the entire year, but please note that around late November and December is when the new calendar is published (follow Diegatus Studios on social media to stay up to date!). If you make your submission around those dates or after it has been published, your event will be considered for the next edition.
Take a look! The event must comply with and be governed by the following points:
1. The event must be nationally recognized in Spain or worldwide, and largely justified through social media, articles and/or calendar pages dedicated to storing and displaying information about events.
2. The event must be based on a historical, cultural or social moment or movement.
3. The event must have and justify a broad and potentially significant interest for the public. Events of personal, local or specific interest are not allowed.
4. The event must be established from or promote respect, inclusion and/or diversity (cultural, social, ethnic, etc.).
5. The event must not promote discrimination, hatred or divisions between people or groups.
6. The event must not represent ideologies associated with politics or religion, although there may be exceptions that will be considered and reviewed. In no cases events that represent extremist or radical ideologies or messages will be considered. These are those that refer to actions, ideologies, individuals, groups, institutions, agents, parties or political movements that are, either themselves or by those who describe them, very far from the political center or the social space of consensus, which impose their own ideas without considering other points of view.
7. If the event refers to a company, trademark or association, it must be justified that the event complies with points 3, 4, 5 and 6. Events that are used for the sole purpose of promoting the entity will not be accepted (except when it is for Diegatus Studios).
8. Regarding those events that celebrate the field of science, those that promote unverified theories or scientific speculations that do not have consensus in the scientific community will be avoided.
9. The event must avoid redundancies with other events that are already on the calendar. Duplicates or variants that lack significant differences will not be accepted. If there is a similar event, the need and differences with respect to the other must be clearly justified.
10. The event must have a specific date, either:
10.1. Fixed (a specific day of the year).
10.2. Mobile (a day of the week in a specific month or depending on the number of the day in the year).
10.3. Long-term (more than one day).
11. Long-term events may not exceed 31 days of longevity, to avoid saturation of the same event during the course of the year. If it is a seasonal period (such as the seasons of the year), only the start day will be marked.
12. If it is an event considered to belong to a category (such as: Hedgehog Day (animals), Firefighter Day (professions),...), points 1, 2 and 3 will be especially considered in order for it to be added.
13. The calendar is reviewed annually to assess whether the events comply with current criteria and rules. Diegatus Studios reserves the right to modify or withdraw events that have lost relevance, that generate current problems or that are redundant with other approved events, as well as the right to modify this policy at any time.
